What do we mean with 'Creative Strategy'?
Creative Strategy is a major step forward from normal competitive strategy. Normal strategy is based on looking at simply moving a company or business forward to improve its performance by some scale.
In contrast, Creative Strategy has been developed to fully optimise a business or public authority so that it delivers the best of services to its customers and optimises the returns for both.
We have developed the best Competitive Strategy approach over the past 20 years by fully integrating understanding of potential customers, competitors, suppliers and owners, and then setting up the strategy plan to move things forward - as far and as quickly as possible.
Creating the creative strategy approach
Simon Quarrell, our Chief Executive, used to lead the KPMG strategy consulting team. During that time, he developed a unique approach based on combining four areas of attention - and these are now fully within the scope of Heston Lowe.
The four areas are:
- participation and involvement: ranging from ideas generation through to consensus building
- type of approach: ranging from a combination of qualitative, experience based and visionary factors through to analytic and quantitative elements
- focus and perspective: combining a narrow focus on due diligence with the client through to broad looking at the wider picture
- and organisation focus: ranging from performance and operational improvements through to markets and external perspectives
